The F@lco Cybershow

Since the Falco Musical is getting quite a lot of reactions in the media, I thought I'd make a separate page about it, too.
The Musical started on the 1st of April at the Ronacher in Vienna. There are only 22 showings. You can order cards over the phone: +43 (1) 588 85 or +43 (1) 96 0 96. Or check Planet Falco for more info.

These songs are interpreted by the Musical actors, NOT Falco himself!.

As far as the reactions from the fans are concerned, there are different opinions as always. Those of us who've seen it seem to be quite impressed as a whole though. I've copied what Katrin thinks about it, but I'm afraid I haven't got the time to translate it:
Fuer die Anti-Cybershowler und speziell fuer jene, die sich von denen net haben beeindrucken lassen und trotzdem hingegangen sind... zu dieser sensationellen, herausragenden und zugleich zum Nachdenken anregenden Show!!
Die Darsteller, obgleich teilweise schwul, andersfarbig und glatzköpfig (ungehörend!!) waren extraklasse (ganz besonders moechte ich Hansi Lang, Michael Patrick Simoner und auch André Eisermann herausheben)!! Die Musik war, wie nicht anders zu erwarten, schwarz...aber auch Liebhaber des Heavy Metal und des Punk Rock kamen ganz auf ihre Kosten.

Was ich allerdings etwas bemängeln moechte, ist das Finale, in dem es ein langes Hin und Her darüber gibt, wer denn nun eigentlich stärker ist, der Hans oder der FALCO... FALCO gewinnt natürlich die "Schlacht", aber ich finde, da haben es sich Sobol und Manker relativ leicht gemacht, denn sie gehen einfach davon aus, dass der, der stirbt, den Kürzeren zieht...
Trotzdem, alles in allem hat mich das Spektakel schwer beeindruckt, auch durch den Enthusiasmus, den die KünstlerInnen an den Tag legten...ein Muss fuer alle FALCO + Hans(!!)-Fans.

Other Fans have complained about the lack of interest that some of the artists (esp André Eisermann) have in Falco or his music. They also think that the show is not representative of Hans' genius...
